Gmail email tracking without an account
“No account” is easy to print and hard to mean. SentCue Email Tracking does not ask you to register, does not use Google OAuth in this version, and does not open a vendor inbox. Install-scoped random identifiers authenticate API calls from this Chrome profile so the origin can count pixel hits for tokens you created.

Other Chrome Gmail trackers also advertise “no account” or “no limits.” Read what they store: many still create a vendor user behind the extension, or they sync opens to a dashboard once you click a cloud icon. SentCue’s no-account claim is about this version’s architecture (install-scoped ids, local history), not a promise that every competitor’s landing page is lying.
What “without an account” does not mean
It does not mean the mail never leaves Gmail — Gmail already delivered it. It does not mean zero HTTP. It does not mean you can deny that a tracking image exists if someone inspects the message. It means you are not creating a SentCue membership, not signing Google OAuth screens for this product, and not storing subject lines on our side in this version.
What you still send to the network
Turning tracking On still inserts a remote image. The pixel host must see an HTTP request. SentCue’s application database is designed not to persist recipient IP or raw User-Agent. Network infrastructure (Cloudflare) still sees enough to serve the file. Subject and recipient stay in the browser.
Tradeoffs of skipping a login
- No cloud restore if you wipe the profile or another device.
- No shared team view.
- Delete tracking data / uninstall is how you leave, not “close my SaaS user.”
