Mail Tracking Support
Mail Tracking is a Chrome extension for Gmail on the web. SentCue hosts its site and API. Recipients do not install anything.
How tracking works
It is a tiny image. If you turn tracking On after the disclosure, Mail Tracking may insert a 1×1 image with a random token. When a mail client or Google’s image proxy requests that image after the Undo window, we may show a blue circle in Sent. That is an activity signal, not proof a person read the mail. Scanners and you opening your own message can also load the image.
Pixel origin: https://pixel.sentcue.com (alias t.sentcue.com for older messages). This support site is Cloudflare Pages and does not host the API.
If you received a tracked email
Ask the sender to stop tracking you. Disable remote images in your mail app to reduce pixel loads. Privacy details: Privacy §11.
Before you write (senders)
- Use the production extension, not Spike or PoC builds.
- Reload the extension and refresh Gmail after updates.
- Tracking stays Off until you accept the disclosure.
- Scheduled Send is not supported.
Delete tracking data
Open the Mail Tracking popup → Delete tracking data for this install (POST /delete-install). No Mail Tracking or Google login is required. Email [email protected] if the button fails.
