Everyday use
Email tracking without creating an account
An email tracker without an account means you install the extension and work in Gmail. You do not register a vendor user for SentCue. This version also skips Google OAuth. That is the practical search intent behind “email tracker without account.”
What you do
- Add Email Tracking to Chrome and pin it. Guide: Get started.
- Open Gmail on the web. Tracking stays off until you enable it for a send.
- Read circles in Sent. Use History on this browser for search, filters, and reminders.
There is no SentCue password to forget and no cloud inbox to export later. Delete tracking data for this install, or uninstall, and the local store is gone.
What still leaves the browser
A tracking image is still a remote request. The host sees a random id and timestamps. Subject and recipients stay here. That is not “zero HTTP.” It is “no membership and no mailbox API.” Longer architecture note: Gmail tracker without an account.
The tradeoff
No account means no sync to another computer and no shared team view. If you need the same history on a laptop and a desktop, a cloud tracker with a login is the honest product. See local-first vs cloud.
A blue circle means that an activity signal was detected. It does not guarantee that the recipient read the message.
